TRIO Student Support Services Staff

The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) team is composed of six dedicated professionals who work collaboratively to support student success. The team includes:

• Director of Student Support Services

  The Director of Student Support Services provides leadership and oversight for the program, supervising all staff members and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines. The Director is responsible for strategic planning, program development, and fostering an environment that promotes student success.

 

• Instructional Assistant

  The Instructional Assistant is available to help you schedule appointments with the SSS Advisement Coordinator as well as the Mathematics and Language Arts Tutor Coordinators. They also assist students in completing their SSS application and provide general support to ensure smooth program operations.

 

• Mathematics Tutor Coordinator

  Mathematics Tutor Coordinator provides support for students in math-related subjects. They coordinate tutoring sessions, offer strategies to strengthen mathematical skills, and help students build confidence in their coursework.

 

• Language Arts Tutor Coordinator

  The Language Arts Tutor Coordinator assists students with reading, writing, and communication skills. They organize tutoring sessions, provide resources to improve language proficiency, and help students excel in their academic writing and literacy requirements.

 

• Mathematics and Language Arts Tutor Coordinator

  The Mathematics and Language Arts Tutor Coordinator provides academic support in both math and language arts subjects. This role involves organizing and overseeing tutoring sessions, assisting students with understanding complex mathematical concepts, and helping them strengthen reading, writing, and communication skills. The coordinator ensures students have access to resources and strategies that promote success in coursework across these key areas.

 

• SSS Advisement Coordinator

  The Advisement Coordinator offers academic advising and guidance to help students stay on track toward graduation. They assist with course selection, degree planning, and connect students to resources that support their educational and career goals.
